SwiftChange™ 2-way Diaphragm Valve
Change diaphragms fast, without removing the topworks.
The SwiftChange™ 2-way diaphragm valve offers everything you want in an aseptic diaphragm valve, with a twist—change diaphragms in under a minute. No loose parts, no complex procedures, no heavy lifting.

SWIFTCHANGE™ TECHNOLOGY
Brilliantly simple technology that delivers.
1 Valve's goals for its SwiftChange™ technology are to provide robust, flexible solutions that save time and money, and are easy to use. In addition, the technology should be universally adaptable to a wide range of applications across many industries.
Below are just a few features and benefits that 1 Valve's patent-pending SwiftChange™ technology delivers.
Change diaphragms in under a minute
Slash maintenance downtime for diaphragm replacement from an industry average of over 20 minutes for a typical valve, to under a minute.
No topworks removal required
This not only reduces maintenance time, effort, and expertise requirements but also shrinks the valve maintenance envelope, allowing valves to be clustered more densely.
Quickly pays for itself
Switching to SwiftChange™ technology can drastically reduce downtime, paying for itself in just a few diaphragm changes. And it continues to deliver savings for the entire life of the valve.
No complex procedures
Anyone can be quickly trained to change diaphragms using SwiftChange technology. No realignment procedures. No heavy lifting. You can change the diaphragm on any size valve unassisted.
No realignment required
The semi[topworks may never need to be removed. , , attachment maintains factory alignment for improved reliability. The topworks rests directly on the valve body, rath a pliable diaphragm, for even more reliability.
Easy diaphragm access window
During maintenance, the easy diaphragm access window simplifies and speeds up valve maintenance. You never need to remove the topworks to inspect or change the diaphragm.
No loose parts
No loose fasteners to track, retrieve or replace. Just loosen a few bolts partway, swivel a plate, open the valve, and remove the old diaphragm. Then slide in the new diaphragm, close the valve, swivel the plate back and tighten the bolts back down. Done!
Compact size
Because the topworks does not need to be removed, the operating and maintenance envelopes for the valve is significantly reduced.
Conforms to ASME BPE dimensions
Face-to-face dimensions of SwiftChange assemblies match ASME BPE standards and allow you to drop in a SwiftChange valve where you are using another ASME BPE dimensioned valve.

Flexible Patent-pending Technology
SwiftChange™ Technology
SwiftChange™ technology is readily adaptable to a variety of valve types. 1 Valve can supply the same topworks for use in different applications, with little or no change.
SwiftChange™ technology is simple to use, but it's unlike anything else out there. That means lots of questions.
Here are a few frequently asked questions and answers.

Will SwiftChange™ bonnets and actuators work with existing valve bodies from other vendors?
We’re currently testing our solution for retrofitting SwiftChange™ topworks to existing valve bodies. It requires no cutting, welding, or changes to process contact surfaces. In many cases you can use existing diaphragms with our adapter key.
Is SwiftChange™ technology patented?
Yes, 1 Valve’s SwiftChange™ technology is protected by multiple US and international patents and patents-pending. As patents issue, they will be listed on our Patents page.
Do I really never need to remove the topworks?
There is no need to remove the topworks for routine maintenance, such as changing the diaphragm. The handwheel mechanism can usually go many years without any problems. However, should you ever need to service the actuator mechanism, or if you want to upgrade to an automated actuator, the actuator can be removed.
How often should I change diaphragms on a SwiftChange 2-way valve?
The frequency of diaphragm changes really depends on the process, but it is generally agreed that diaphragms should be changed at least once a year. Because it is so easy to inspect and change diaphragms on valves equipped with SwiftChange™ technology, you may determine that you can change diaphragms more or less frequently.
